About Me
My name is Cori Watson. I have a background in child development from California State University, Chico, and completed my graduate work at the University of Southern California. I then completed my Special Education Advocacy Training (SEAT) from the Council of Parents Advocates and Attorneys (COPPA).

SEAT is an intensive year-long course funded by the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services and awarded to the University of Southern California's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities in partnership with COPAA.

Special Education is complicated, and can seem hidden and impossible to navigate. I will support you by providing insight, explanation, and guidance to help you make informed decisions. I ensure that your child has been appropriately assessed and all their needs have been identified. I work directly with District staff to understand their different options and types of programs while identifying potential private supports and services. Armed with this information, I hold the IEP team, the school, and the District responsible for addressing all your child's needs in crafting a unique and well-rounded plan while holding them accountable for their legal and regulatory responsibilities.
The Special Education journey does not need to be traveled alone. My clients can easily reach me to answer questions and discuss concerns. Together, we develop plans and next steps. As an Advocate, I walk the journey with you side by side. As a parent, your input and insight are vital to the IEP process. I will help ensure that your voice is heard.
